MAKEUP PHILOSOPHY

“Good makeup is based on science, color theory, technique, and thoughtfully curated products; True artistry helps people fall in love with themselves a little bit more—it brings real energy that helps people celebrate who they see in the mirror.

Over the years, I’ve built the skill set (and the dream kit) to be able to work with everyone. I am told I’m meticulous in my work. My understanding of how makeup translates for photography and ten years plus in the industry as a working artist has made me a total badass when it comes to doing my job.

Breaking down what I’ve done in my career— I’ve glammed up many a personal client for birthday parties, debuts, and special events. I’ve worked in the corporate world doing professional headshots for people who are going through career transitions and I’ve helped countless businesses put their best foot forward with professional branding. I’ve worked in print doing many beauty and fashion editorials for magazines. I’ve worked with brides, bridesmaids and their loved ones to craft timeless looks for their special day. I’ve done television work, music videos and small films, some of which have won global awards at film festivals. I’ve done camera ready makeup for men because feeling good and looking good is for everyone. And I’ve done many a passion project as well— one of which surpised me with a billboard across from Times Square, New York.
